1. Peking University.

Fundan University is the first university owned by a Chinese citizen. In 2000, it merged with the Shanghai Medical University. It has a student population of about 29,000 with nearly half of those being postgraduate students.

4. University of Science and Technology of China.

The University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) is a famous university in China and has excellent reviews all over the world because of its high standard of education. General Entry Requirements for Universities in China.

1. For courses taught in English, applicants have to show proof of English Language proficiency with English proficiency tests like IELTS or TOEFL. This isn’t required if you are an English native speaker or if you already have an academic degree which was taught in English.

2. For courses which are taught in Chinese (Mandarin Chinese especially), applicants have to show proof of Chinese Language proficiency by providing results of their HSK examination which is the approved Chinese Language proficiency medium.

3. Undergraduate students are expected to have:

  • High school certificate or a diploma certificate
  • Might have to pass a one year International Foundation Year program at the university of choice
  • HSK level of 4-6 ( for courses thought in Chinese Language)
  • Study period is between 4 – 5 years
  • Applicants should be aged between 18- 30

4. Master’s degree students are expected to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant course of study
  • A minimum of two letters of recommendation from professors of the school you got a Bachelor’s degree from
  • Might have to sit and pass the China’s college entrance examination
  • HSK level of 5-8 ( for courses thought in Chinese Language)
  • Study period is between 2 – 3 years
  • Applicants should be aged between 18- 60

5. Doctoral’s degree students are expected to have:

  • A Masters’s degree in a relevant course of study
  • A minimum of two letters of recommendation from professors of the school you got a Bachelor’s degree from
  • Might have to sit and pass the China’s college entrance examination
  • HSK level of 5-8 ( for courses thought in Chinese Language)
  • Study period is 3 years
  • Applicants should be aged between 18- 60

6. Applicants must have to criminal record. Extensive background research is carried to make sure this is complied with.

7. Applicants have to have a guarantor in China.

8. Applicants must have proof of financial reliability.
