OAU Distance learning CDL Application Form 2021/22 Out, how to apply

The Obafemi Awolowo University Centre for Distance
Learning (OAUCDL) has announced that applications for its
2021/2022 degree programmes in Accounting, Economics
and Nursing are open. Interested members of the public are
hereby informed.

About The programme was introduced in April, last year upon
approval by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC).
The students receive lectures at their various locations
through a tablet device (VigiTabs) given to them when
admitted.
Three programmes are accredited and certificates would not
have Distance/Online Learning stated on them. The
programmes are Accounting,
Economics and
Nursing
General Admission Requirements
With a Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
score of 180 and five credit passes in relevant subjects,
students can enrol for the eLearning undergraduate
programmes onlin.The applicant must meet the subject,
scholarship and examination requirement depending on the
proposed degree, or an acceptable equivalent from an
accredited university is required.
A comparable degree from a recognized foreign institution is
also acceptable. The university requires a minimum
cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
Application Procedure
The admission process into OAU-CDL E-Learning program is
completely automated.
Prospective candidates can complete their enrolment
process within 15 minutes by following the steps belowbr /> 1. Visit the Obafemi Awolowo University Center for Distance
Learning E-Learning website on online.oaucdl.edu.ng
and click on APPLY NOW from the homepage.
2. Complete the application form and select your preferred
courses of study.
3. Using your INVOICE NUMBER you can either pay
immediately online using your ATM card or visit any First
Bank Branch near you and provide your invoice number for
payment.
4. After successful payment of your application a notification
email would be sent to you with a link
5. The Link will take you to an automatic O/Level screening
portal.
Successful applicants will then immediately receive their
admission status via email as well as log in details.

STEPS FOR FEES PAYMENT
STEP 1: Log into the SIS Portal (eportal.oaucdl.edu.ng) and
click on the Fees menu to display all the fee items to be paid
for including installments
STEP 2: Select ‘Pay All’ to pay in Full or ‘Pay Installment’ to
initiate part payment for first semester.
STEP 3: Click ‘Pay Fees’ button to continue with online
payments. Interswitch payment gateway is displayed, click
the Continue button to generate TransactionID and also to
display the interswitch payment panel where you insert your
ATM debit card details to complete your transaction.
STEP 4: Download your receipt of payments by clicking on
Fees menu > Print Receipt button
NOTE: It is only when a successful payment transaction is
made online that the Print Receipt button can be active for
downloads.
