State Recruitment Screening commenced on the 9th of April. The Nigerian Army recruitment form closing date has not been announced. But still, you have to hurry to apply not to be late. We will tell you how to submit an application in accordance with all the rules stipulated by the state structure.
Job Requirements
Take care of compliance with the following criteria prescribed by the administration of Nigerian Army:
- You must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and show your National Identity card.
- At least 4 credits (one of them must be in English) achieved at 2 sittings of WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
- Tradesmen & Women Applicants should have OND/Trade Test/City and Guild certificate.
- Non-Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be 18 – 22 years old by March 1, 2020.
- You must be absolutely physically and mentally fit for service in the army.
- Admissible height is from 1.68 m for men and from 1.62 m for women.
- If you know several Nigerian languages, this will be an advantage during army recruitment 2020.
How to Register and Check if Eligible?
It is necessary to find the online form at Nigerian Army recruitment portal recruitment.army.mil.ng, fill it out, print and send this document to the recruiting center.
After considering your candidacy, you can find out whether you are accepted for screening. Just use your application number on the site to check this information. If you are lucky and accepted for screening, you should read the below information very carefully.

You will have to come to the screening center with the following items:
- White vest
- Blue shorts
- White canvas
- White socks
- Original and photocopies of the credentials
- Scratch cards for online verification of result (WASSEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB)
- Writing materials
- File jacket
- National Identity card/slip
- Passports and full size 5 x 7 photographs

In order to apply, visit www.nigerianarmyms.ng. First create an account and make sure you read the Qualification Criteria properly.
You will be sent an email notification afterwards, which contains your login details. Then, click on Login in order to complete the application form. Make sure all the necessary documents are attached to the online application form.
Afterwards, print out the photo-slip. Present it to a Court of Law to sign the first page, while another qualified individual sign the second page.
N/B: The qualified individual can be high ranking military personnel from the post of lieutenant colonel and above. It can also be the Secretary or Chairman of a local government.
