Express VPN Scholarship 2020
This is a virtual private network founded in 2009 which aims at helping individuals or institutions to use Internet with security, privacy and freedom.
This networking company do offer three scholarships with a total value of $4,000 (first place $2,500; second place $1,000; and third place $500) to high-school, undergraduate or graduate students. The winners will be featured on a variety of online platforms, giving them a unique opportunity to improve their curriculum and become prominent voices in current debates regarding Internet privacy, digital rights, encryption and censorship.
The applicants for this scholarships are required to write a 450-600 words essay (in English), by choosing one out of the three available topics (We Own the Future, Privacy Advocates, Privacy in Real Life).
The quality of the essays will be judged according to their authors’ capacity to formulate and justify their views through clear and articulate writing and usage of logical and organized argumentation.
The deadline for the application is August 31, 2020 and the winners will be notified on October 14, 2020.
Express VPN Scholarship Eligibility:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in either a high school, undergraduate school, or graduate school located in the United States
- There is no age or citizenship requirement
- Employees of ExpressVPN and their immediate family members are not eligible for this contest.
- One entry per student. Each is eligible for one prize only. Multiple entries per student will be disregarded
- Winners must submit a valid ID and proof of enrollment in a high school, undergraduate school, or graduate school located in the United States

To be entering in scholarship contest, submit an essay on 450-6000 words from one of the following three topics:
