Federal Government declared March 25, Friday, and March 28, Monday, public holidays.
The holidays are to mark the Good Friday and Easter Monday celebrations.
The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, made the declaration in a statement issued on his behalf in Abuja by the Acting Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Alhaji Muhammadu Maccido.
In the statement, Dambazau enjoined all the Christian faithful and Nigerians in general to support and co-operate with President Muhammadu Buhari in his sustained efforts to build a peaceful, united and virile Nation.
While wishing Nigerians happy celebrations, the minister urged them to use the occasion to pray for peace and unity in the country.
