Applications are invited for Daikin Malaysia Group Scholarship Program for the Year 2020. Malaysian students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Daikin Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (DAMA) is the only air conditioning manufacturer in Malaysia producing a wide range of HVAC equipment for the Malaysian and global export markets from basic residential air-conditioners to high technology light commercial and commercial heat pump, air-cooled and water-cooled chillers?
The integration with Daikin has enabled Daikin Malaysia to capitalize on each other’s strengths and compensate for each other’s weaknesses as well as develop business and improve technology.
Scholarship Description:
- Applications Deadline: August 31, 2020
- Course Level: Scholarships are available to study Bachelor degree programme.
- Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study Bachelor of Degree in:
- Engineering (preferably in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing)
- IT
- Accounting
- Business/Management
- Scholarship Award:Scholar shall reimburse 100% of the scholarship fees should he/she resign from the company or is terminated during the period of the bond.
- Nationality: Malaysian students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Number of Scholarships: Numbers not given
- Scholarship can be taken in Malaysia

Entrance Requirements:
- Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Scholars (students) Eligibility:
- Malaysian
- Full-time student
- The student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree
- Already gained acceptance into Malaysia Universities (IPTA/IPTS). Preference will be given to students from IPTA.
- Possess good academic result:
1. Students who will enrol into 1st-year-degree program
- SPM or equivalent – min 6As + pass all subjects. Good results in Mathematics, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- STPM/ Pre-University/ Local Matriculation/ Diploma/ Foundation – min CGPA 3.00 & above.
- MUET – min Band 4.
2. Students currently pursuing 1st-year-degree program
- SPM or equivalent – min 6As + pass all subjects. Good results in Mathematics, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- STPM or equivalent – min 2As + pass all subjects.
- MUET – min Band 4.
- Min GPA or CGPA 3.00
- Actively participated in co-curriculum activities and displayed outstanding leadership qualities.
- Strong communications skills.
- Possess a positive attitude.
- Medically fit.
- Have not received any other financial aid from any organization.
- Scholars who are free from any future employment obligations.
- Students who meet the above criteria (a to k) are welcome to apply. However, preference will be given to students from families with household income of RM5,000 per month or below.
English Language Requirements:
N/B: Applicants must have strong communications skills
